individuals to widen their professional networks and gain meaningful industry-relevant
skills and experience.

Describe some of your tasks as a trainee at Mavericks thus far!
So far, we have been assigned to learning and re-capping various programming languages ranging from front-end to back-end as well as to database. After we have learnt each segment of the assigned topics, we are given assignments to complete to check our understanding and receive feedback.
How has your experience as a trainee at Mavericks been thus far?
The environment here at Mavericks is one where we are given an opportunity to learn and progress to reach our fullest potential under the guidance of very outstanding mentors. I think this is the dream of all trainees and freshers moving into a new industry. With its collaborative culture where everyone does not hesitate to help another, I have been having a blast being a Maverick!
What are some new things that you have learnt or picked up?
There are too many to list, from new languages to frameworks, to little things that were pointed out or I had picked up from my team that will make my codes and programming slightly more efficient.
Is there anything that you are looking forward to learning or EXPERIENCING?
I am looking forward to learning more about frameworks, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Personally, I would want to work towards achieving better code readability, code reusability and separation of concerns.
